Can both the numbers. TATA and Reliance be made active simultaneously as in some chinese dual sim phones?

Also wat's the procedure of adding a TATA number in NAM 2?

Yes its possible to program Nam2 with these settings but only one number can work at one time. And also es* will have to be changed each time you switch over to the other connection. You will have to use ruim es* for Nam1 for Reliance and the original es* for Nam2 for Tata and u will have to get that es* of Nam2 activated from Tata who will give u a separate MIN no. which you will have to feed in Nam2 or also u can do it OTA by activating your phone by *228. Then you will have to switch the Nams each time you want to use either of the connections after changing the es* in cdma workshop.

@deepak - complete procedure has been sent to you, but I see you apply yourself a little slowly. You will have to read those topics and apply yourselves. Its not possible to spoon feed each and every step. Try and if you get stuck somewhere then ask. We all are here to help you.

@dkalie and others

getting a tata connection on nam 2 is simpler ....

u just have to give tata your esn and ask them to register it ...

what i think is that u dont even need two esn's

u can give tata the same esn that u have with reliance ...since reliance and tata dont have centralised database so i dont think it will matter to tata if u give them esn u using with reliance ...

so there is no need to have two esn's or changing esns everytime in cdma wrkshop

once u get ur esn registered u just have to update your new msid on nam 2 and dial *228 to get other nam parameters for tata ...

now its even more simpler

there is a registery setting

after modifying the registery u get an option to swith nam

u have to go to your phone dilaer /options /services /switch nam

also in qpst u have to disable auto nam ..thats all

Well this is actually not for myself as I don't have any TATA number at present..

Was asking out of curiosity :)

@ Mr. Dhiraj

Sorry if I bother you a lot.. :P

About SPOON FEEDING that's 'cos I have my exams ahead, and as such I do not bother to play with mogul, else, if any thing goes wrong, I'll have to waste hours together to program my PPC from scratch (as I haven't done it ever)

@muf

No, Tata will not activate Reliance es*. I have tried it. I donno how its possible if they did not have centralised database, but they certainly did not activated Reliance es*; so it seems they do have something at the backend. However activating Sprint es* was no problem at all....

Hi Dear How R u?

I am using Tata and Reliance in Nam2 and Nam1 respectively. But i did not get any problem while switching between this. It think there is no such an esn asking. what i done for tata was. I take a prepaid connection and got thMSI no from it and registered to Nam2 after that using their handset change card i changed the no to this esn. Now its working fine in Same ESN I think.
