savramesh 37 Report post Posted May 26, 2009 Business Standard Tuesday, May 26, 2009 Tata Teleservices Limited (TTL), one of India’s leading telecom service providers, has been rated as the best telecom operator in the Orissa circle in terms of customer satisfaction, according to a survey. The survey was conducted by Mumbai-based IMRB International, an independent agency on behalf of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). According to the survey report, 94 per cent of the subscribers of TTL were satisfied with the telecom operator’s service followed by 93 per cent customer satisfaction for Reliance and BSNL. The customer satisfaction level for Airtel and Vodafone stood at 91 per cent and 89 per cent respectively. Addressing media persons here, Kapil Sharma, chief operating officer, TTL (Orissa circle) said “Tata Teleservices has been ranked number one in terms of customer satisfaction in Orissa according to the TRAI survey. It is a proud achievement for us and a validation of our extraordinary standards that we have set to achieve customer excellence.” The survey covered 2,759 mobile subscribers, 381 fixed line subscribers and 754 broadband subscribers across various geographies in Orissa. It was conducted on parameters like help services, network performance, billing services (post-paid and pre-paid), maintainability, supplementary services and overall customer satisfaction.
