technofreak77 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2009 Hi All I bought a BB8830 at Ahmedabad(not through tata indicom,but a third party) and was using a GSM sim card.Recently I moved into Bangalore & here when I wanted to activate BIS with Airtel,they said that my PIN is engaged with TATA INDICOM and they said that it needs to be deactivated first.When I approached TATA,they enquired me about the primary owner's detail,which I did not have.Hence,they said that they cannot disengage my PIN.But I am able to use Airtel SIM for normal voice calling.Is there a way to disengage my PIN.Is my handset still Locked?pls help Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
