Not Able To Use Internet Connection Sharing

Recommended Posts

Friends

I am not able to use mogul for connecting to internet on my laptop. In internet connection the "connect" button is always grayed. I have tried to change settings in connections but not successful. Actually there should be two windows one for selecting the connection method (USB or blue tooth) other to select the connection ( Mobile word, net connect, my isp etc). The second window is missing

Please let me know the way out please

Open your Registry Editor and navigate to: HKLM\Comm\InternetSharing\Settings

Do you see "ForceCellConnection" entry there? Delete it and reset the Mogul. You should be able to connect after that

I also have the same problem. I tried deleting the entry. I got a error message "Cannot Delete value ForceCellConnection. Access is denied.

Any solutions.

Resco Explorer 2008 v7.00 with Registry plug-in - posted in Sprint original rom topic in my signature under Boot/Other folder in 6800-ExRom.rar file... its solution is posted below....

Vaise, there is no need to delete that entry. I am using it along with that entry; only thing is to go to Start-Settings-Connections-Connections-Advanced-Select Networks and from the top drop box, configure your My ISP connection under which u will find Phone as Modem connection (if not create one) and configure it as u would a Rel NetConnect connection with your 10 digit phone no. as ur username and password, rest all settings default...

@dkaile

Thanks for your reply. But if I use NetConnect I will be charged @10 paise per kb whereas if I use Relmobileworld connection it is not charged (DAPO user). Can i use the Relmobileworld setting here?

Rel Mobileworld connection with proxy enabled will NOT LET YOU BROWSE the internet using ICS.... and in Netconnect you will be charged 60p/min and not per kb. U can use Mobileworld connection without proxy and browse @10p/10kb. With Mobileworld with proxy connection, you can only access the wap site of Reliance i.e. Rworld... and that also only on the device not on pc...
