Cherian 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2009 I have not been able to connect my Reliance Huawei EC1260 modem successfully to my desktop running the XP 64 bit OS. After installtion it refuses to connect. It works well on my laptop running the 32 bit XP though. The call centre has not been of any help in spite of repeated calls. Please help. But I'm unable to use it on my XP 64 bit system at the same time it works fine on 32 bit system. The guys at Reliance mobile world have no clue about it but they keep on insisting that it works on 64 bit OS. Also I've seen many people have same issues with 64 bit OS on various forums. So if Reliance listening to these problems people have, they should at least mention it on the box or inform customers at the time of purchase that this device is not going to work on 64 bit systems.
