Saving A Png/wbmp From R-surf

Recommended Posts

Hi every1,

This is my first post.... but I have been going through this site as a guest for a long long time. I had been using bitpim long before I saw a posting here, along with bitpim I had written a wall paper encoder. But the ringtones part was someting I got to know from NGC.

Now I was trying out a bit more advanced stuff.... that is When I connect to R-World -> Surf two files (naming varies) namely 007.jad and 007.jar were created in ams folder.

for eg : If I was visiting say wapcards.com, can any1 tell me where is the page being displayed stored (like the Temp Internet Files in windows)?

Accepted that the whole memory defined is preset as accessible by the class file (jbrowser.class) which is inside the jar file. (in com\jataayu\01)

Please drop your comments. Plan to make an all round software for the LGRD2030,

planning to code in Java (as I am not that great in VC++)

I had tried to see if the R-World midlets write the displayed to a temp cache file.

I couldn't find any such  and believe that it is loaded into memory like it happens on your desktop.

If U find such a thing then .. even if a R-World service - like ringtine goes paid for download. U could simply save the content from this "cache file".

I tried using uniCdma and I read the memory prior to connection and then post connection again.... and guess what (NO CHANGE ! Same CRC)

So I believe that there is either a seperate memory chip (LIKE the CACHE ) that works in conjunction with the PHONE PROCESSOR.

I guess I read somewhere about Qualcomm chips coming designed that way...

anyways I Plan to keep trying..... and CODE tnX 4 the fast response.
