Step ( a ) The first number 2 multiplied by itself is 4, and then you ADD 1 = 5 Step ( b ) The first number multiplied by the next number (in the sequence) is 10, and then you MINUS 1 = 9 Step ( c ) The first number multiplied by the third number (in the sequence is 18, and then you ADD 1 = 19 Step ( d ) The first number multiplied by the fourth number (in the sequence) is 38, and then you MINUS 1 = 37 Step ( e ) The first number multiplied by the fifth number (in the sequence) is 74, and then you ADD 1 = 75 (This is the answer asked for the question by Ramesh) OK, Kumaar has given the answer before me....
