savramesh 37 Report post Posted August 8, 2009 (edited) Source IT solutions company, Ushacomm, has partnered Talisma Corporation to offer bundled solutions to mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) and telecom companies under the brand name TIB-X."We are targeting MVNOs and greenfield operators as prospective clients in India and overseas," Ushacomm executive director Saugata Banerjee said here today. There will be a spurt in the number of telecom operators in the country once TRAI comes out with the final guidelines for MVNOs which were expected in the near future, company officials said. MVNOs are service providers which do not own telecom infrastructure, but offer services under their brand. Ushacomm, which is a part of the Usha Martin Group, provides Business Support Systems (BSS) for fixed, mobile, broadband/IP, cable and satellite markets, said it would soon launch billing solutions for utilities, diversifying from telecom solutions. "We are also looking at acquisitions targeting product companies in the telecom space," Banerjee said. "TIB-X is a pre-configured solution built around business support systems, including billing, customer relationship management and business intelligence," Banerjee said. Talisma is a Customer Relations Management provider and has provided its services in the solution which has been implemented in 2,000 campuses of American universities, Talisma Corporation MD R Mruthyunjayappa said.
