papikondalu 1 Report post Posted August 24, 2009 This morning I've seen my PPC6700 has the screen all white. It was fine until midnight. Even though the screen is all white, it can receive calls, sync with windows PC. I don't think it is responding to touch screen actions. Soft reset does not do anything. Sadikk 301 Report post Posted August 24, 2009 Time to gift yourself new phone?? lol joking... try hard reset and/or keep battery out of phone for half an hour and try... if lucky it will show u colors..... one of the strip is gone/loose/cut/burn causing this issue... What's the cheapest, decent, minimum functionality phone in the market with a RUIM slot try hard reset and/or keep battery out of phone for half an hour and try... if lucky it will show u colors..... one of the strip is gone/loose/cut/burn causing this issue... I opened up the phone, put back all connectors as tight as permitted . No change, it is the same situation. Note: No response to touch on the screen. I managed to get another phone from which I replaced the display part of the 6700. Now it is working like before. I've upgraded the OS to WM6.5 from ppckitchen.org.
