According to the offer, RIM subscribers can make unlimited calls to other RIM phones in Kolkata and West Bengal for free between 10pm and 8am from Shasti to Bijoya Dashami. Moreover, R World, the multimedia data suite of RIM, would present the flavour of festivities in the city to its subscribers throughout the country. It would include history, anecdotes, wallpapers, recipes and video clips of 16 famous pujas of the city. R World would also have special downloadable ringtones. Mahesh Prasad, president applications and solutions group said, “R World pujo section is not only for Kolkatans, but also for other RIM subscribers across the country.” R World would also host a puja contest. In addition, RIM post-paid subscribers were being provided with a special discount of 10-20 per cent at 55 different leading outlets in the city.
