i wanna upgrade rom of touch pro but i didnt know about upgrading rom.request to all techies pls help me and give me the method of upgarding rom of touch pro

@ Tanveerbhai and saurabh159: I think he's asking for an upgrade for the Touch Pro, not the Diamond. The ppc geeks links you guys have posted are for the Diamond.

@coolboyashok: I presume you are running on the original sprint ROM that was on the Touch Pro? Could I know why you want to upgrade? Presently the original 6.1 ROM seems to be working just fine and I don't think a stable 6.5 version of the Sprint ROMs is out officially, so you might as well wait for a month or so till the upgraded Sprint ROMs are out in the open.

i agree with anupe but phone is too slow and now going for hard reset but i dont know the procedure of hard reset.

anyone tell me the process of hard restting htc touch pro.

Hard reset

1. Pull out the stylus.

2. With the device turned on, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, then press the RESET button with the stylus tip.

3. Release the RESET button, but continue pressing the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons until you see this message on the screen:

4. Release the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, then press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

Clear Storage

You can also use Clear Storage to reset your device back to factory default settings.

1. On the Home screen, slide to the Settings tab and then tap All Settings.

2. On the System tab, tap Clear Storage.

3. Enter "1234" and then tap Yes.

I am very happy with the original Sprint Rom for Pro; though Mighty 4 is also damn good...

I have tried almost the entire range of ROMs ( about 8 or 9 of them ) for Touch pro and finally settled for Mighty ROM 4.16 which I found to be most stable and fastest and useful for business professionals.
