ani_meher 42 Report post Posted September 16, 2009 I don't have a net connection at home, but I do require to refer to google maps from time to time. This need was finally answered when I found this software. You can download the maps of the required areas, at as many zoom levels as possible, and even their satellite images. For transferring the maps from a system having internet connection (system A) to one not having it (system , you need to take the following folder C:\Documents and Settings\{user name)\.googlemaps from system A in Pendrive/CD. Then, when you install the software in system B, copy the folder in the similar location (difference being the user name). And voila, now google maps are available offline!
