Telecom company Aircel has approached the Delhi HC seeking an answer after the Delhi government took action against Aircel for not mentioning the date of manufacturing and packaging on its SIM cards and recharge coupons. Filing a petition before Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Aircel contended the notice issued by the state government for not mentioning the date on these products is illegal and arbitrary as SIM card and recharge coupons are not commodities.
