Computer Hangs With Rconnect Lg 2030 When Connected

Can any one help me i have an LG rd 2030 handset and using USB datacable to connect the internet, When i connect to my Intel desktop its working fine but when i connected to my AMD laptop the laptop gets hang i tried many thing but nothing is working, What is the problem it is connecting in my desktop and not with my Amd laptop,

Use serial data cable.Ur problem would be solved.......
