Information Reqd About Broadband Modem

Friends Today i got Reliance broadband USB modem. The speed never goes beyong 20 KB/s.My network type in the dialer is selected as hybrid as it does not support broadband in my area it seems. Reasons for slow speed? or with the hybrid network is it normal?

To confirm whether you are connecting to HSD signal, change it to HSD alone and check that first.

Thanks Arun. I think your suggestion was right. I did that and speed had increase to about 100KB/s. Is it normal?
