MOBILE FAN 42 Report post Posted October 31, 2009 (edited) I am already having RCDMA unlimited-440 Plan. My wife is using RCDMA prepaid. But somehow I am attracted to the current euphoria of 1p/sec theme. I dont want to discontinue any of my existing plans. But thinking of buying a new prepaid GSM sim for 1p/sec. Docomo is already there in Pune, though availability was an issue and I dont know if the issue is still there or not. Aircel has launched the same plan with a cap of 10k sec on STD. Airtel and Vodafone has similar plans but they are not comparable to the other two players. Can anybody tell me which one, Aircel or Docomo, has a better coverage in Pune and what is your suggestion on this ? You can't compare a unlimited plan to a pay per sec or 50 paise per min plan, if usage is high between reliance to reliance unlimited will always work out cheaper. Check you monthly usage and see how many hours you are talking in a month and then take a call. You can also look at simple reliance plan as it is good too. raccoon 53 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) One of my friends needs a new connection in Pune. Anybody in town has compared Aircel and Docomo yet? Important factors are network quality and coverage. Tariffs are less important. Edited January 13, 2010 by raccoon

copperco2 24 Report post Posted July 31, 2010 Its from my personal experience i find that even in Mumbai there is a stretch of land or a place where most of the operators fail to provide a good signal strength. The place is in Mahim. I have experienced it with DOCOMO.. Airtel.... BPL as well as Vodafone. Its a bit off topic but then as per the vodafone guys .. calls made from this location i.e. Mahim and some others.. the Maharashtra niumber is treated as in roaming and charges are applied. Maharashtra.. Mumbai and Goa being one circle, it seems highly irregular.
