Have installed the browser as per topic posted by Karki (BB 8830 Review and Hacks)... I can see the browser icon and I have also installed the Opera Mini 5.... chintan1 6 Report post Posted November 8, 2009 Hey Kunal , Initially even i also tried with RGSM , but the problem is with the RGSM itself , they don't support many imported handsets ..this is what i had been told by RGSM CC ..after a fighting lot for gprs in my BB8830 . So they don't support BB8830 gprs/wap . You can verify the same by inserting any other operator's sim card & run Opera mini . It will work . Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 the problem is not of operator or of imported handsets its simple in tcp there is no option of putting in proxy settings so if ur gprs is proxy enabled its difficult to use on 8830 via tcp , i have mentioned same to greatest also one way i know of to use proxy on tcp is to make a custom service book with proxy settings in it , that might just do the trick also u can try some apps which give u an option to configure proxy , search , as i know there are some mail apps which have option to put inproxy settings 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
