KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) Once again this plan is exclusively for PREPAID users and only donuts for POST PAID users... :rofl_200: :rofl_200: Hope it will force the lazy buffalo BSNL to make changes in roaming tariff too.. Fingers crossed... Further Idea and Aircel also may come up with similar plan, but who cares, since it is for prepaid users only.. And most FREQUENT roamers are POST PAID user only and Prepaid users roam occasionally... Edited December 1, 2009 by kanagadeepan

vvinayakpai 26 Report post Posted December 1, 2009 1.5ps per second works out to be 90ps/min. Is 70ps a different option for customers? What is the enrollment fee for the 70ps/min scheme?

Himanshu Singh 19 Report post Posted December 1, 2009 Its a crap. Nothing as compared to Rcom. Let Vodafone offer 1paise/sec call on other networks first and then let them talk of 1.5paise/sec on roaming. Airtel and Vodafone have made profits only by overcharging customers. Let MNP come and they would realise a few things in a price sensitive market.
vvinayakpai 26 Report post Posted December 2, 2009 (edited) Confirmed from their website. For availing their 70ps per minute roaming offer for karnataka subscribers, a recharge of Rs. 133 has to be done. It offers a validity of one year and all local, STD calls charged at 50ps/min irrespective of network. Roaming irrespective of network charged at 70ps/min, for incoming outgoing etc as long as you are travelling on the vodafone network. Also, free 100 local sms free every day. National sms charged at 50ps/min Rs. 133 all for a validity of one year? After one year what happens? Also, what about the subscribers who had recharged for all local, STD at 50 ps for a recharge amount of Rs. 119? KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted December 2, 2009 AFAIK, Roaming rentals or any other charges for any roaming packs were disallowed by TRAI. Then how is Voda charging for such roaming packs? See here. they have very clearly shown it as roaming bonus pack. All along, RCOM did not introduce roaming packs because TRAI banned roaming packs and rentals. Has the ban been lifted now? So now, with the advent of RCOM's simple plans, all the GSM Gangsters have gone on their backfeet now and started kicking violently. But unfortunately, their kicks do not have any punch in them now.
