I expect DoT to make policy statement on the above so that it'll clear the mist surrounding the EVDO services. If i purchase corby speed, will i be able to just take that RUIM from my old handset and insert it into corby. Or will I have to get a OMH MTS sim ? I read on MTS website that "this handset can only be used with OMH enabled SIM". Are RUIM and OMH enabled SIM different things ?? I am sorry for asking these questions but i cant help it. I am from a small city and neither these new handsets nor any info on them are available here. I want to confirm everything before i order it from some other city.. Thanx in advance guys !!! The error msg i get is "please upgrade your R-UIM in order to obtain data services". I approached the Web world and the people were not even aware that this model has been launched, so they were not able to help me and on approaching the customer care she had registered the issue.
