Is there any digital zoom available ?? If YES then how to do that ?? I cant find a way to zoom while taking snaps.. Also its given : "Stereo FM with Auto tune facility of up to 30 stations. Enjoy listening to your favorite music with one touch access. Record your favorite FM songs to micro SD card / phone memory." How to record FM ?? I cant find any option to record .. I too see Rs 99 smewhat in Bills for VPN Charges i dont know what was this and how this came into my A/c i Do activated Samsung Corby on my Number using OMH RUIM but i keep on Switching the Number on 2 or three Phone. and my Bills is a Junction like Train Too many Activation and no one can understand whats inside. lol........ "Please upgarde the RUIM to obtain data services"... I opened the pc studio.. clicked on "widgets" and then on "internet connector"... its the same msg i get on my mobile when i try to use data service.. i dont know if i should laugh..... me_saket 73 Report post Posted February 8, 2010 hey guys finally after complaining to CC 5 times my samsung corby handset finally is connecting on EVO mode. They took 3 days to activate the plan and then 2 more days to resolve the problem of connecting on broadband. So far browsing speed in handset definitely noticeably very fast as compared to 1X. I tried as a modem also for about half hour. browsing speed is definitely much faster as compared to 1X earlier. I downloaded a 12MB file. I got a speed which varied between 28 KB/sec to 60KB /sec. not yet upto 2.4 mbps as claimed. will update you soon on more. I want to know if anyone has tried successfully HSD setting on Samsung Corby. I called up CC on * 355 They told me to create a new profile from MENU>SETTING>APPLICATIONS>BROWSER Then in settings give dialing number as #777. username and password as Phone number and leave all other settings as blank and choose the newly created profile. Then they told me to dial *228 and after 4 hrs you can use your high speed connection. On doing so the phone says "your number is already active" and after 40 secs a message comes on screen"Programming unsuccessful" and call disconnects. On connecting( in wap browser or as modem on laptop) the nothing happens, the initial connection shows EV but immediately switches to 1X mode and I can't get the speeds. Has any one successfully been able to get speeds over 2 mbps or even 1 mbps for that matter tks same prblm, wat to do? wat abt the Battery backup issue for this fone ? as i am unable o use internet(my main purpose of buying phone ). I talk hardly 30min+ simple usage of PM fucntions. My phone battery last for 2-2.5 days. :clap: please help me to get 2.4mbps speed & 10GB data usage free. :sos: :sos: finally after loosing RS60 I was able to surf at 1MBPS and download at2 mbps today :SI: :SI: :SI: so CC heard my voice and activated EVDO services on my number. BUT :'( :'( :'( If i use this sim card in other cdma handset (1x) neconnect geting disconnectd after every 30seconds :rofl_200: And Reliance people are still trying to fool me(including service assuraance cell) that i already got benifit of 10GB which Neconnect people says-not true. It is a simple phone. Not impressed with the BADA OS and TouchWiz at all. If I had better options in CDMA, would have selected it. But there are few good offerings in CDMA cellphones. I have a non-OMH Sim from Tata Indicom. I created a new network profile and tried to connect GPRS using those settings, but I continue to get the error everyone else gets... "Please upgrade your R-UIM for Data Services". The settings I used are... Connection Name = TATA Zone Dialer Connection Name = TATA Zone Server Dial = #777 User Name = wapuser Password = wapuser Proxy Server IP = 172.23.252.15 Proxy Server Port = 9401 Is there any way to bypass the error message and just use 1X GPRS with non-OMH sims? GSM version supposedly has something... I can't find it on this phone... 2. The photo sliding is very slow and gets stuck, but youtube review of the GSM version of this phone showed smooth transitions... I tried small size, low resolution photos as well, but without any success. Is the phone faulty? 3. Some reviews said that Camera has Panorama option, but I couldn't find it on my phone... 4. In the Photo browser, is there a way to view photos stored in memory card? I can only see the ones stored in phone memory. There is no option to go to memory card. Same schme is not availble in maha. I have a postpaid connection... Pay per second, 249/pm, Rs 200 TT free... Local, STD 1p/sec... But GPRS is expensive. Let us know wheter MTS have this facility or not. reliance and tata -tested, working fine cant do that also. i got a reply from MTS. they say : "Dear sir, Kindly send us the scanned copy of Times of india (showing date & place) with the complete AD. of this." This is completely idiotic. I already sent them an image file of that ad (downloaded it from telecomtalk.info) in the first mail. Now they want me to prove that they are having such scheme...
