Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted October 29, 2004 I love win 98 its the most stable and user friendly windows version ever made by Microsoft. its never hangs, never craches. i used all OS approx. win NT, 98, 2000, XP, 2003, Linux. but i liked win 98 SE most. so my vote goes to win98. Talk about the looks and the performance...its never hung up for me...imagine Win98 and its blue screen of death!!! Win XP is the best from Windows till date. RSumit 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 No doubts about this :: WinXP is more stable than WIN98. When using WIN98 the blue screen used to come up so freqntly that i gave pref to Linux. But once I started using WnXP prof I've forgotten about all other OSes. It gives u stability combined with style, user friendliness, aesthetics, features. So if ur PC supports WinXP( I think most guys' comp does) give it a try. You'll soon find ur self saying '' I'm lovin it '' (McDonald style)

deepu 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2004 (edited) Sorry for the error... its actually a P4 1.5 Ghz...I got lucky at that time coz RAM price was very cheap (just Rs. 800 for 128 MB). So I got 512 MB in the machine. Even now the machine is really fast and I do not even feel like upgrading. I have tried Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Linux. Now I have dual boot with Windows 98 and Windows XP. Unfortunately some of old softwares which I really need do not work in Windows XP. So I need Windows 98 also.
