Here is the video converter for Hero - http://www.videora.c...erter/htc-hero/ The software can convert all types of video files (avi, divx, xvid, flv, x264, vob, mpeg, DVD's, YouTube, etc.) into the proper video formats (MPEG-4, H.264) that play on the HTC Hero. It is available FREE for Windows and Mac. Just choose phone choice as HTC Magic in the beginning, as HTC hero is not available right now. Works the same... By using your Hero's orientation sensors, it can show you a star map for your location. Explore planets, stars, constellations, and more! Learn the name and location of space objects and impress your friends and teach your kids. Just tried it personally and showed my kids Mars for the first time. It searched and took me to it... postashish 3 Report post Posted February 12, 2010 hi guys i dont think this has been discussed..i have a very strange problem in my hero, related to network. If the phone is left idle for a while,though reliance network is shown but if i call some one it says "to resume service please contact reliance". and if someone calls me they hear the no is switched off, then i have to switch on my old cell dial a number from that and then i can see Jaipur network notification on hero as well. postashish 3 Report post Posted February 12, 2010 Yes i have not flashed it as yet i am on sprint rom only.. sumit seemed to have messaging problem as well, i have this switched off problem when idle or when i switch it off and switch on again. programming the phone again if i reset it will be a tedious task for a newbie like me! Though fast forward and reverse were a little laggy in a big file, but for the first time I could watch a full movie on a mobile phone...
