For GSM its awesome as dont need to stick the phone in your ear all the time. When it vibrates, it means the other person has picked up the phone! kshah 452 Report post Posted April 27, 2010 Please transfer ur numbers to new sim cards and use HERO only... this is pathetic to k now people understands the things but still do the same thing again and again.. dont force reliance to take u all down from the arena... :| Ideally speaking, system has ability to know which handset is used even if its programmed using RUIM data. Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted April 27, 2010 to all people who are getting this sms from reliance DONOT DO *228 FROM YOUR RUIM Reliance is planning to take us all down it seems they have woken up from deep sleep they are implementing AKEY authentication so they want you to do *228 from ur handset , once u do that the akey is registered and gets in use with the network so for eg , if u are using ruim and u do *228 again after reading this sms , ur programmed handset might stop working as there will be AKey mismatch 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Am using treo but had kept my original ruim somewhere safely and can not find it now. To shift to a ruim handset now, how do i get a new ruim with my number on it ?
