Mahinder 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2004 Today I had a look over the handset at ww. It has really got an attractive sexy look.Handset cost is not finalized. It will cost Rs 6500 – Rs 6999/-. Features had already been enlisted over here. People reading this over her will of course like PC compatibility. Till date there is no info regarding PC Sync for this handset hope 4 best. Handset cost Rs 6999 (Approx) Data Cable Rs 1200 (Approx) Extra Battery Rs 1500 (Approx) Total cost Rs 9699 (Approx) Thus cost is equivalent to LG 7230. Therefore cost will not play major role in choice of handset but features will. Native MMS and speaker phone are really interesting when compared to 7230. In 7230 camcorder is more interesting. 17728 but one will be able to buy only handset for 6999 (Approx)? right ?

Code 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2004 Possibly CSTN display which will be dim outdoors as compared to the transflective TFT display of 7230 is a drawback for those who work freq outdoors.

tanmay 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2004 I am interested in upgrading from lg 2030 to this phone. Is it worth paying 6249 (i.e. with 750 discount) or is it worth waiting for newer models. I have another phone i.e. GTRAN and am quite happy with it. But i needed a camera phone. It seems that this phone has the following disadvantages ---- no pc sync, no ruim slot and 140 character sms for outgoing. however it has native mms from which we can send photos taken from this phone to your mail box, other rim and surprisingly GSM phones too (according to rel cc) Ringtones may not be a problem since one can send these via mms (hopefully) Regards Tanmay

Basant 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2004 Since TATAs are coming up in a big way, it is desirable to invest in phone with ruim slot only, which will give option to switch over.

Saurav 22 Report post Posted November 24, 2004 I think LG 6130 is almost same as 5130 with added camera and different screen. Do you agree?
Code 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2004 Hi all Just buy the LG6130 . first victim (kidding !!!!). its the product of the picture if pictures will be such kind of then I thinks its all useless of this camera phone ??? any one knows how to improve the pic.quality ? 20064 I think these low end cameras are good for capturing landscape photographic pics. They perform decent outdoors & under good lighting conditions. Furthermore mostly they have a fixed focus of about 5 feet & no optical zoom. So if U try to capture something in the dark or something that is too near or contains too many details (News Print etc) then the performance will be very bad. They a NO substitute to even entry level dig camera if look at these things but rather a handy tool to snap in time when there is no alternative. You can try this tool Noiseware from http://www.imagenomic.com to reduce the noise from Ur photos if U R not good at photoshop. It does a decent job
