Nokia 5230.. Is This A Nokia Touch Worth Considering!

Recommended Posts

Looks like a good option.. Considering the price and features. How does it compare with the other touch screen phones available in the market?

I had a look at this phone at a Nokia Priority Dealer.. What I liked about this phone was nice touch response, easy to use interface, Stable connectivity and fast data browsing speed..

The Camera which is of 2 MP was pretty sharp in the daylight..

I felt in love with the looks of this phone ( It is almost similar to 5800 bt look at the price difference.. :P)

There were 2 extra back covers in the box too with Plectrum dongle..

If you have been using Nokia and want an affordable touch phone, This phone is highly recommended. I'm in love with this phone. I would anytime prefer it above Samsung and LG of same price range...

previous.gifApprox 8.5k...it's nokia 5800xm minus 3MP cam and Xpress Music. It's a 3G phone with resistive touch screen and wi-fi. More details here http://www.gsmarena....a_5230-2909.php

5230 does not have wi fi. it's music quality is similar to 5800 xpress music.. but it lacks 8 gb card,wi fi & cam features... at a price difference of 5000.

Well....Some people say that 3G is not fully active in this phone...

That means It supports 3G sim but we cannot do video chat...

This was also confirmed by people at Univercell in Chennai...

Is it True...??

sorry didnt had full details.

u can make a video call but for your picture u have to use back camera.which i think negates the function of video calling.

so in all you can say video calling is not fully possible.
