KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 Shall I can start a mobile manufacturing company in India? Yes you can, Santhoosh Ji... I am NOT joking.. These Chinese guys need order (with advance payment) of 1000 to 2000 handsets (even few high cost sets with WiFi and TV needs minimum order of just 250-500) and will show you their collection (to select model) and will produce and give them IN WHATEVER NAME YOU WANT... There are even a few websites for them.. For eg here is one. Ofcourse they are NOT AT ALL reliable and this is the only place where can find G+C qwerty handsets.. They even have G+G+C qwerty TrackBall BB clone... They are saying that many are verified suppliers and few are NOT.. But who knows

But who knows But what about the import license and other customes rules and regulations? Or is it possible to manufacture our own Indian models once we receive all the mobile details(including PCB detials, chip details, hardware details etc.). Why we will follow chineese items? We should want our own brand with all made in India....Also most of the chineese suppliers are not verified. Shall we will get service and replacement from chineese suppliers? I think it is not possible. Thanks for the reply Deepan ji. ^^^ you can purchase unnamed mobile phone from china, after reaching to india, you can print your name on it, which will cost only Rs .20- Rs 50 but not all websites are safe to purchase from china, there are many fraudsters Yes, You are right Hitesh Ji. But how Karbonn, Maxx, and other manufacturers are importing all the chineese mobiles to india without any fear from the untrusted chineese mobile suppliers? Thanks ^^^ and now, here we got a tutorial on how to start a mobile manufacturing company in India I think we will start new thread regarding this topic.. If all of our rimwebians contribute some amount; then we can start our own rimwebians mobile manufacturing unit in India. We have all type of Techies in our rimweb. We need to form a public limited company.
