bodhidg 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2010 I have been using the Nokia 6210 Navigator for the past 1 year and have been using GPS Navigation on Google Maps quite nicely. I was on AIRTEL then. I changed to RCOM GSM 2 months back, and ever since then, Google Maps fails to find any GPS Satellite, and even if it does, it happens after 30 mins or so, and then the link goes in 1 min again..!!! And for the Navigation using Network based positioning, somehow very strangely, the Google Map always ends up showing a location in the Arabian Sea right next to Mumbai...!!! (WHEREAS, I am in Bangalore) I have tried a lot to figure out a solution but in vain. I use the Navigation feature of my handset very extensively. I am using Mobile Internet Plan 99 (300MB Upload/Download). Any ides how to resolve this?
srk006 21 Report post Posted January 10, 2010 well... exactly same problem for Google Maps(without GPS) "My location ". When I was in Chennai, "My Location " is shown some where in Mumbai. I feel RCOM has not set up their towers to map to a location; all locations point to their Mumbai server or so... Any expert answer on this??
