:previous:

No conditions Hitesh Ji...

This is simple No-NonSense ofer from MTS... It doesn't charges call mole$ting charge of 39p/call or Rs2/day like Uninor...

MTS should advertise this scheme heavily in TVs and FM Ads saying THERE IS NO RENT PER DAY OR NO EXTRA CHARGE PER CALL...

But MTS's 1p/2sec charge is still better imho...

praful is absolutely correct..mts has been taking money(by means of msavers) on 1 or other pretext .i remeber that they had 150 rs recharge in aigust for 50p std to any network..now this..considering that they dont have coverage reliance cdma, this amount seems to be high..1 shud nt forget that in mar 09 ,they launched services here in chennai with tariffs almost par with incumbents

No. It's not there in Virgin.

Virgin charges Re.1 as daily rental.

This is the currently industry's best tariff for non-roaming users.

But MTS's 1p/2sec charge is still better imho...

You've to pay monthly rental of Rs.30 for that particular Msaver.

For sure they can reduce the roaming charges in MTS circles

Also MTS is not available in all circles !

Rome can't be built in a day !!

Just hold on for a while.

^^^

but you have to admit MTS is very small player comparing Reliance & TATA indicom.

So it is difficult for MTS to build roaming network.

Also to make roam network, they should be available in all circles,

as it is an CDMA, roaming on other network will be problem.

I think certain facts needed to be added here.

Firstly, MTS has roaming agreements with Tata and Reliance. So wherever Reliance/Tata is available roaming with MTS is possible. Also MTS has agreements to use the passive infrastructure of other companies. So building network is not that tough.(I am unable to recall the details at the moment.)Look at RGSM. What do they lack(nothing except brains of course)?Yet RGSM is a failure, to put it mildly.

Secondly, why do we forget the initial days of RCDMA when there was poor coverage in most rural areas and even towns in some states and there was no use roaming with RCDMA?

Thirdly, MTS is doing well as a new entrant. It just crossed 3 million subscribers. (I am all for more competition in CDMA space.Ideally there should be atleast 4 CDMA and 4 GSM operators in each circle in the long run.)

does it provide intracircle roaming,

like i purchase it from pune)maharshtra and then go to interiror whr mts not present but tata cdma present,

in that case whethe i can latch to tata n/w thr?????

if noit then no use of purchase if u r frequent travel to interiror or rural places???
