swapnil05in 2 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Day b4 yesterday i wnt into Nearby MTS gallery. I asked him to chk whether MTS works in my set. IT was working with his demo sim. I chose a number he opened the sim kit in front of me inserted that sim in my set & switched on & it was not working. This procedure was followed thrice & the result was same. can anyone help me with this? currently I use this set with TATA indicom as well as with RELIANCE. kshah 452 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 may be MTS sim is OMH sim. I have heard that OMH sim causes problems with some handsets. If its MIN outof range, then kyocera uses SPC3 to unlock. ::Hitesh:: 1,763 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 ^^^ but then how come demo sim is working. and tata and rim both are working on that handset, that means it is unlocked. only one possibility demo sim is normal sim and new kit have new omh sim. if this can be solved by unocking spc3, i can help. but first confirm that is due to spc3. also even after spc3 unlock new sim may not work.
