dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted February 10, 2010 I would suggest you put a reliance no. on this phone for some time to rule out any hardware issues; if the problem vanishes, then again change back to tata; if it persists then it should be a modem issue with your phone... SumitVerma 187 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Update! Purchased a new Tata postpaid connection of Haryana and activated it while the phone being in Mumbai with Sadikk bhai! It was all working fine their on Reliance as well on Tata, messages issue was no more there. Now when the phone was back in my hands, the same issue started all over again. Same network went off and on and force close message. Last day when I went Delhi, I was able to receive messages and felt happy thinking the issue is resolved, but when I am back in Haryana, the same issue comes again! Kindly Suggest what to do! dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) ^ It seems as a problem of SID and NID that Tata uses; as Reliance uses single SID and NID whereas TATA uses multiple; you can experiment by changing the SID and NID by going into ##3282# (i.e. ##DATA#) and edit the Advanced settings after entering your SPC; Try using the following combinations of SID and NID for Tata - (Set the Pairs as per Below) Home Home SID NID 14846 65535 14842 65535 14840 65535 14836 65535 14844 65535 14838 65535 One of these might work out for Tata in Haryana... Tried to change the 1st SID to different but no gain. One thing, I did it from the phone itself. So it means when I tried there were two same SID in the phone at different Numbers.
