@mitJ@in 256 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 Untill unless TATA Indicom launches a official Android phone for there network, this problem is not going to resolve...
SumitVerma 187 Report post Posted June 21, 2010 ^ Actually this issue is in home network only (Haryana). In other states its smooth. No issues whatsoever.
@mitJ@in 256 Report post Posted June 21, 2010 Yes, I read your whole thread, I mean to say, if they launch any android phone then only you can lodge a complaint for it to TATA, unless they are not going to accept the fault if you say them.
SumitVerma 187 Report post Posted June 21, 2010 Lol!! I wont lodge any complaints!! That will just go against me and the people who are activating my phones.
SumitVerma 187 Report post Posted February 16, 2011 Update!!! The issue, I suppose, is not with android only. Samsung Epic on Tata indicom recieving messages fine with Zero"0" shown as Zero"0" and not "D" where as my EVO still shows it as "D". Maybe Android+HTC is the whole issue! digitalnirvana 646 Report post Posted February 16, 2011 ^ Hi is this a HTC software or hardware issue? Did you try using a non sense ROM i.e. stock android on HTC and see if it worked?
KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted February 17, 2011 (edited) Yes, I read your whole thread, I mean to say, if they launch any android phone then only you can lodge a complaint for it to TATA, unless they are not going to accept the fault if you say them. That is NOT AT ALL going to happen... See the choice of handsets in their website... Either ridiculously low priced Rs750 to Rs900 Huwaei and other handsets or ridiculously higher priced outdated BB phones... RCom atleast has one android device (though also ridiculously priced).. Even there is a rumour that iPhone4 CDMA is coming to RCom... TATA don't have any feature-rich decently priced handsets in the range 8k to 18k...
