BSNL is the cheapest and you can save huge amount per month in all segment.

BSNL is the only operator who has unlimited plan

BSNL n/w will be congestion free since BSNL has zero/very little CDMA voice operation

MTS is the second best and it beats TATA/VIRGIN/Reliance hands down in any usage level

TATA/VIRGIN is cheaper than Reliance in the higher data range (> 5GB)

VIRGIN has special 5GB(night) plans which none other operator has

Your information must be right. Because today i have seen download speed of 80kbps and showing Hybrid on netconnect software. Which is first time in my place (udupi,karnataka)

do you get hsd coverage in udupi or any other area near by?
