linuxguy 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2004 people, in the international market these guys arent charged by the Data Transfer Volume(DTV) rather by the bandwidth they buy. For example if these guys buy 100Mbps bandwidth from an international ISP then they have to pay them flat. They arent charged for 100GBs of download/upload. They have to pay these guys a flat sum whether their network transfers 1GB or 100TB!

Utsav 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2004 Seems that it's designed for educationists and researchers only who are happy with text/bases content from various sites and 200MB will be more than enough for them.

iiii_pretender_iiii 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Seems that it's designed for educationists and researchers only who are happy with text/bases content from various sites and 200MB will be more than enough for them. 18692[/snapback] For such guys, a mtnl 3 kbps line is enough for displaying text. What are these isp's think ? They cant provide village kind of download limits and expect customers to buy the package. That package is for people who cant diffrentiate their tv from their pcs. Grow up ISP'S. The message is c l e a r. India is not gonna settle. We want the BEST. Now, get to work.
