Dd Direct+ Faqs

Recommended Posts

Hi Please read this ...and lets find out how reliance would be diffrent ....

How DD DIRECT+ is different from other DTH systems ?

Most of the DTH Systems, operating all over the world, provide Paid Service. The encrypted TV signals are received from the satellite on the Dish Antenna and transmitted to the DIGITAL DECODER. The customer is provided with a Viewing Card, which is inserted into a slot in the DIGITAL DECODER. The Viewing Card decrypts the TV signals chosen & paid for by the customer. A Viewing Card is a credit card sized smart card, which contains information about the channels that the customer has subscribed to. When inserted in the Decoder it enables viewing of the channels chosen by the subscriber. The subscription charges for viewing these channels are collected by the DTH operator.

However, DD DIRECT+ would be totally different, as Doordarshan would not be charging any subscription fee from the viewers, making the system cheap and affordable for all.

Receive system of DD DIRECT+ would be cheaper as compared to receive system of other DTH operators as all the channels proposed under Doordarshan project are Free-To-Air and therefore SMS and CAS are not envisaged. No smart card/conditional access system is required at the uplinking or downlinking site.

Apart from Dish Antenna, every thing is similar.

RIL Netway uses Cable>>>>>>SetTopBox>TV/Internet/Phone

& DD-Direct uses Dish Antenna>SetTopBox>TV/?/?

Who can say ...?

Basically i would love DD+ better than the connection by reliance.

Bacause, if i shift to some place else, i could just carry the dish and install it there.

No headaches.

Plus im not foolish enough to trust reliance a second time.

DD is going to remain DD only, no matter how much they spend ... they compromise on everything.... (which @ times is not worth)

Plus im not foolish enough to trust reliance a second time.

As of now RELIANCE Rulez

This is my complaint that I sent recently...

Respected Sir / Madam,

Regarding no signal message.

My name is Dileep, I bought Fujicom DTH system from the dealer. But he is not ready to install as my home 9+ kms away. I repeatedly contacted him 3 DAYS for service but negative response. There is no dealer around 40 kms radius. Kindly help us.

With my friend we setup dish and connected the DTH but now it is showing no signal message. While buying DTH and LNB was OK. But Now, Signal power is showing 74% Quality is 2% Status as Unlock.

LNB frequency is set to 10600 in both left and right column.

Trans frequency is 12650

Polarity is vertical

Symbol rate is 27500

2K is ON

12V is ON

Video, Audio PID and PCR ID is set at default.

I need info to set the Satellite Longitude Number.

Local Longitude Number.

Local Latitude Number.

I stay nearby Vidyaranyapur, Bangalore 560097.

Ph: 080 32964591.

We are eagerly waiting for your response.

Dealers are misusing DTH Service by hiding important information that is critical to subscribers.

Thanking You.

Dileep Kumar.D

Anyone knows about it ?

:):praise:
