Ghost_of_Mukeshlst 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2010 Today when i was posting a post in address changing matter,just flashed some thing in my mind that we can save paper too in that way..if you stop paper billing and request for e-bill we save a tree so i am going to request for it right now.How many members are going to follow my idea? for prepaid custmer they can avoid paper voucher for reload their mobile.if any more idea have any they can share here we will follow them right now.. supernova 47 Report post Posted February 7, 2010 At present in reliance paperless billing not possible . you may additionally opt for e bill service but that does not mean your physical paper bill would be discontinued . this seems illogical though ... Think Positive... ha ha ha, you think telcos are so nice ? they will add this money to their profit account, not to service account ! it should be two way, they should give us free detail billing on email, then we should think of only e-billing. also why only mobile bill, stop purchasing news paper, stop using plastic bags, stop using your car when not required, dont use computer , YES computer , its require electricity, dont cook food, yes food, it will save LPG or wood. their are lots of things we can do to save earth, but not all are practical. ::Hitesh:: 1,763 Report post Posted February 7, 2010 (edited) like Nokia is planting a tree for every old mobile given for recycle.. why you think this is an good idea, nokia will plant a tree for each mobile phone given for recycle, compare the amount earn from recycle to a planting a tree, every year in month of MAY (my birth month) i go to my village place, we (group of 4) plants trees to mountain area , this cost us only few seeds given by the local peoples , some hardwork, nothing else . also we get good time by doing this.we feel happy, that is main thing here. manishag 17 Report post Posted February 8, 2010 I am using the ebills and estatements since long back. but still few of them send paper bills/statements many banks and Operators do give some freebies if you go paperless. like HSBC was offering free wallet when i enrolled for it. I think it is just a sham that all paper billers try to convince you on the name of environment to switch to e-bill. Where will Ratan Tata put his garbage next time? In a jute bag?
