tushar_163 63 Report post Posted February 14, 2010 (edited) Hey Everyone, Finally today I was able to successfully program HTC Droid Eris on Tata and Reliance. It was very tricky to find all MEID locations of Droid . Mostly the procedure of Hero and Droid is the same but finding the locations was very difficult . Special thanks to haappy , ravjeet , rahujas and last but not the least mufaddal . I cannot post everything here in open . Please contact me for any help required regarding Droid programming . Although my personal choice would be Eris just because of a few reasons - 1) Firstly I like black over silver/grey . 2) Placement of the "back" key is better . 3) "Call" (green and red) keys are bigger in size . 4) It's more slimmer and feels good in hand . Rooting - rooting for Eris will also be out sooner or later . Trackball - you won't feel the trackball smaller when you use it . Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted February 15, 2010 Special thanks to haappy , ravjeet , rahujas and last but not the least mufaddal . i guess i was the one to share complete list of meid n pesn locations with them anyways htc hero is always going to be better over droid eris we are working on evdo , to get it on imported htc handsets all i can say once successful , htc hero hero has chance of getting evdo , droid eris it wont be possible plus at present droid eris is non rootable , and when it will get root is a big question mark atleast with htc hero there is lot of options of roms , wifi teether etc Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you are talking about Hero's Meid and pesn locations posted on other forums , then just wanted to tell that none of them worked on Droid Eris. In Sprint Hero We can Switch Nam1 to Nam2 Very Easy. In Sprint Hero Switch Nam Option is by default. But.. Verizon Droid Eris This option is not by default.
