ctrlaltdel 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2004 hey guys i m plannin to buy a new cell... i m confused between the two... there are some features of GTRAN which i like like its looks, deattachable cam, and sleek... in 6130, we have a flashlight thingy,,, but prob being NO PC support(according to RIL site)... can GTRAN users plz tell me if they have faced any bug? thnx i have gone thru the gtran section...but still if more info... Anyway Gtran is replete with SMS bugs, poor R-World support, very poor battrey life, etc, etc. You can find plenty of details if you search Rimweb. Dont be in a hurry to buy any handset ...if you dont want to repent later! You can check reviews on dozens of mobiles on Mouthshut too. New models released obviously may not have reviews yet ...but if your are like me, you'd much rather wait a bit rather than tear your hair out after buying a buggy handset! ctrlaltdel 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2004 thts wht i m waiting for... i currently have the moonlight fone... its a good fone (except for SMS 140 chars thing)... it had some probs with INbox causing it to restart but after upgrade its fine... thts y i m waiting for more reviews... the PC sync feature is really cool abt GTRAN... Saurav 22 Report post Posted November 15, 2004 It’s very hard for me to believe that someone is interested in purchasing GTran after reading reviews on Rimweb. CAD GTran has got nothing except PC Sync. I am repenting for my choice. Camera has very poor quality not worth to purchase except if you have no other option and get it at throw away price. I purchased GTran in July almost Aug. I am now looking for a possible scenario to upgrade to LG 6000 or some equivalent handset. About 6130 you are correct even ASC people don’t have any knowledge regarding PC Sync. If you are still interested in purchasing GTran send me a PM.
