Possible: Two Cdma Connections In One Cdma Phone?

My query is can we use 2 CDMA connections is just one CDMA phone?

I know both connections of Tata or both connections of Reliance wont work.

But what if we have 1 connection of Reliance and 1 Connection of Tata and set them differently to NAM1 and NAM2?

Will things work out? I think there will be Data Issues but I suppose if this could be done, we could at least use the other number for calling purpose!

This can be done easily in windows mobile phones with nam1 and nam2 options.

i am using 1 reliance and 1 tata connection in my HTC Diamond without any single ruim card. Both no. programmed.

Reliance dosent work on NAM2 so it has to be done only in NAM1, NAM2 can be tata its very much possible in selected handsets

Nam1 = rim

Nam2= TATA

it also depends on your mobile phone !

Rim is also possible in NAM 2.

Following combination are possible:

NAM 1 : Reliance/MTS, Nam 2 : TATA.

NAM 1: TATA, Nam 2 : Reliance/MTS.

Dont know about other service providers.

Also wap/net will work on NAM 1 only.

hey guys.. i alos want to buy one htc diamond for my mother... and want to programe two numbers pls tell me the requirements to do the excercise

1. Nam1 - Reliance Number (Mumbai Circle) (Handset will be me here in Mumbai)

2. Nam2 - Again Reliance Number (UP-West Circle) (Handset will be here with me in Mumbai)

Pls enlist the requirement/pre-requiste or possible combinations

Thanx Guys, I am just asking because i want to give a to my mother so that whenever she is here in (Mumbai) she can use mumbai circle number and whenever she stays with my brother at (UP East Circle) she can use (UP East Circle) , i hope soft reset and changing from nam1 to nam2 is not that tech thingy stuff in Touch Pro

yes u can programme reliance and tata both sitting here

but for tata u will have to contact someone in tata store in UP
