Reliance Cheating. Nodal Officer Playing Blind, Dumb And Deaf

1. I subscribed to a new GSM number on 27-Jan-2010

2. I started using rcomnet GPRS (Others will not work on my mobile, or will only work limited to browser)

3. Reliance slapped Rs.1500 in 2 days of moderate use

4. blocked all my services, even calling or receiving calls

5. I activated GPRS unlimited 299 pack on 2-Feb-2010

6. sevice assurance cell sent me an email confirming that I can use rcomnet to enjoy unlimited 299 pack

7. I started using rcomnet and reliance again slapped Rs.2400/- on my account for browsing on mobile, stopped all my services.

I am struggling to get service from reliance

Nodal officer simply plays DUMB, DEAF and BLIND.

I am thinking of filing a case in consumer court unless I get an alternate way for reliance nodal officer to listen to my issue and resolve it.

Can anyone help here?

go to appellate and also send cc to trai... see if it works.. consumer forum will be long process. u should be firm and determine to persue yr case in consumer forum..

firstly be more detailed in ur problem

in rconnect u r been charged as per minutes ( time) so if u keep it on for 24hrs its obviuous ur bill will go high

the 299 unlimited plan is for rworld

so u have to set up proxy to get 299 unlimited working

which username password are u using ??

u r using rconnect and keeping it connected for whole day long and are been charged as per time and not as per kbs

^^^Doc...i got reliance gsm prepaid connection some time back i observed that i can use both rcomnet and rcomwap for net browsing. I wanted to know what is difference between these two apns and what are the charges? Please clear my doubts...TIA.

from what i know rconnect u will charged as per mins and rwrold as per kbs with nuc

so before u use it understand charges well

i this case also i think the op was misinformed abt charges , he was charged as per his use , though he didnt knew that keeping data on all day long on rconnect will rip him off

Write them email, and dont talk about Consumer Court in it...talk about PIL against VAS Cheating by telecom and see the effect..

if u seek reply just CC it to most highest authorities in india.. Like PMO, TRAI, Finance Ministry, Telecom Minister offcie ETC also add dozens of nodal officers from competitors like Tata indicom, Airtel, Vodafone, MTS, Loop, Idea and see the magic... embarrass them...

Reliance has plans for non proxy based access too,where UN & PW is phone number. Once you subscribe to any plan they do not have any other charge like CDMA in GSM services. I have tested for few days on prepaid, subscribing various services. There are bugs though. Like say for an example you have activated Rs. 99 plan for a month, you deactivate next day (All done on thru RWORLD). Any new activations will be deducted for plan period. Means if you deactivate monthly plan next day, reactivating means fresh deduction of money.
