rahulmalik_81 1 Report post Posted November 19, 2004 thanx puneet for the info. i also got through some info on BREW platform and it's uses. BREW platfrom ia better den the java platform coz it consumes less power to run applications. it also offers more functionality den the java platform like email, picture msgs, ringtone download, messenger etc. but it has a drawback it runs only on Qualcomm chips n is not handset independent as compared to java which is. Code 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2004 Yeah - it's gonna faster & more reliable with much smaller apps. But this also requires that the developers get a license from Qualcomm for each app(each item in fact) etc. Some ppl say everything involved in it is money money money... Do not buy the set 24119[/snapback] Currently the LG 6000 does not support the multimedia content of R World. All other content is supported. MMS is possible directly from the phone which is a pleasure. Multimedia content on LG 6000 (brew platform) may be available much earlier than March 2005.
