dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 ^ 1. I'm using moserbaer without any issues; CD-R 52X 700MB, DVD-R 16X/4.7GB 2. I use Nero Express Essential to burn iso image directly without any issue; Magic ISO Maker ver. 5.5 (build 0276) cracked and registered also does the job. 3. Just right click ISO file and open with Nero Express to start automatic burning to media.
kshah 452 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 Thanks. I used moser Baer and I suspect probelm with that. Reason is in past when I tried to make WIN7 recovery disk using Moser Baer disk, Windows gave me error that use better quality disk. When I used sony disk it worked well. I will try sony disk to day. I used Magic ISO maker 5.5 and ISO images from torrents.
dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 (edited) I used to have lots of burn issues previously but after upgrading my dvd drives (btw I'm using LG super multi and Samsung Octoedge), my issues have more or less disappeared i.e. drive quality and having the latest drives does matter a lot... HetalDP 947 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 Using MagicISO for almost 4 years and no Issue use Latest DVD Drive For Bunring Windows 7 ISO use Speed Below 8x (I mean it)
Genius 817 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 ^^^ burn speed matters a lot - any important or sensitive data the speed should be less than or equal to 8 though i never faced any problem in win 7 iso's
kshah 452 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 Are yaar I am using it on my laptop about 6 months old. Its Acer 5738Z and drive is Optiarc AD-5780S. Burned DVD at 2X only. I had very very bad experience with DVD burning at high speed so come what may I never burn it at speed higher than 2X.
raccoon 53 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 Burning DVDs too slow on today's drives and media, which are optimised for speed, is said to result in different kind of problems. That said, I use my Moser Baer-LiteOn with Sony and Moser Baer media to burn at around 16x. Most of the time I don't get any errors and it verifies ok... but lately I have been trying to do multi-session and it has been giving problems.
dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 I regularly burn at full speed lots of avi movies; also burnt the W7 iso at full speed without issue...
kshah 452 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 I burnt sony dvd using dvd decrypt but not working
raccoon 53 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 Â Hope your media is genuine. Fakes are pretty common. Even if its genuine, the quality of media available is no great shakes. There is a quality difference between batches/lots too. Which writer are you using? And which media format? If using DVD-R try using DVD+R (+R is is better, if both are working). kshah 452 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 I don't know ow to check media but it did not worked in moser bare and Sony both. Tried with dvd decrypt er, ISO magic and Nero at 2x, 4x and 8x but none worked. This new ps2, so can it be version or firmware change or related problem?
