Suggestion Required : Bluetooth Headset To Be Used With Helmet

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a bluetooth headset which is best suited to be used while driving with Helmets. I know my friend brought one but he cannot use it with helmet as it pinches a lot in ear.

So please suggest something.

Thanks!

Suggestion:

How about Jabra BT3030? The best part about this is, all the controls are in your hands and you can plug in your favorite headsets whatever you like.

Hope that helps!

I would like to revive this thread.

I am also looking a Bluetooth device which I can use inside helmet or in a running bus. I need to participate in conference calls while coming back from office.

The prime requirement is noise cancelling/NoiseAssasin/Voice Isolation and A2DP.

I searched the net and found that Jawbone, Plantronics and BlueAnt are the brands which can support the requirement. But confused between many models.

I would like to spend no more than Rs.2000 or USD 50. I can see Jawbone 2 is available on Amazone for USD 35. BlueAnt z9 for USD 24

Can you guys suggest something here ?

Are you crazy? Why use a cell phone while driving?? Haven't you guys been reading the newspapers enough.......????

Put your phone in silent mode and return the calls when you get to park somewhere !!!!

Agree and suggest the same

Lifer is more valuable than phone call or any thing

Please avoid phone calls while driving

I agree. But many a times the situation is not as perfect as we think. And may need to take/join calls in emergency. Also, my query is not only for using bluetooth while driving, but also while in Bus, train etc.

So plz. advise.

Okay...if you are not driving, you can consider Plantronics M100. It has wind noise reduction and echo cancellation and comes within 3K. If you wanna splurge, the Gargoyle suggests BlueAnt Q2 voice controlled headset.

Not able to find that Plantronics M100 is A2DP.

If it is than how does it compare with Jawbone ?

My suggestions are not stereo blue-tooth headsets. They are just great gear when you are in a windy, noisy situation (of course, not driving).

I've personally tried out both headsets and they have performed really well with the cell conversation well heard at both ends. For the Gargoyle, that's the main KRA for a wireless headset.
