KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 Please don't go for chinese/rebranded chinese phones (like spice) and better go for Samsung Duos259, which supports OMH RUIM and GSM SIM.. Since OMH sim differs ordinary RUIM in data settings only, I think it will allow CDMA data, imho... Else go for Samsung2ON (model production stopped, but by luck some stores may have old stock) which definitely supports CDMA data...

KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted April 3, 2010 What he probably meant was that he wants internet access on mobile on both CDMA and GSM. To make it short, he may have written GPRS on both CDMA and GSM. BTW does BB8830WE (not the original Reliance one) fit the bill? Does it support internet access on CDMA? Most of the chinese/korean do not support internet access on CDMA....

eskayes 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2010 I have a Samsung Duos Touch W299 dual standby. It supports 1X Internet connectivity only on the CDMA.
SumitVerma 187 Report post Posted April 4, 2010 (edited) @ srk006 It doesnt support even GPRS I think. Samsung 2ON is a discontinued Model! Its purely on your luck to find one new! Current rate, No idea. I bought it for 13500/= Edited April 4, 2010 by SumitVerma

Most of the chinese/korean do not support internet access on CDMA.... data in bb8830 in cdma mode is tough...i m saying tough bcoz sadikk has manage to get 1x smhow... and also bb8830 is just world edition it doesn't support dual standby... i think going for samsung is good option but they r overpriced... nothing wrong in chinese phone if data work in cdma mode... and also if u r not extremely concerned abt radiation n all... for samsung models u can check it here... http://samsungcdma.in/ Edited April 4, 2010 by amit.shippie
