Is Lg Rd2030 & Samsung N191 Data Cable Same?

I had samsung model N191 ,so bot a data cable(USB) for that (Local one)

that data cable worked properly with this Samsung model N191.

But now i brought LG RD2030 ( where problem start creatn in life)

1)I want to know that data cable of Samsung N191(local one)USB one

can connect with that LG RD2030.

2)Is there any one who had or using this type of experince with

different model and diffrent product please share with me.

==>when i connect the device on WIndows XP directly( without installing any s/w),then

a)@@New hardware found

and windows does n't recognise it.FOr assistance in solving this problem,click

##3)Actually my data cable is connecting properly with this LG RD2030

socket ,but could not able to processed my installation

i have tried on win98 and windows XP,but unable to install.

MY installtion could not proceed after when i connect my LG RD 2030

when it asked to connect mobile,

Even when i connect my LG RD 2030 with data cable ends ,windows shows

it is able to reconize new hardware but it could not able to proceed

futher.Even i have waited for more than 10-15 mintues,but no responce

later on ,so i have to click Cancel TAB .

4)I tried many time ,install it ,then unstall it,

change it port as well,tried every thing which i can thought.

5)why this is happening if every thing is connection with my hardware

properly,why software is creating so much problem...

6) i had download new relaince driver for this modem from RIL web site

Please give me ur suggestion ..i need help from u....all

I don't think data cable for Samsung handset will work for LG handset

no, ive tried, samsung data cord dosent work with 2030 and LG data cord dosent work with Samsung, even thought the connectors are the SAME.

the test for connectivity is that the light on the CORD shud glow, as soon as connected to the phone.
