StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 Dear all, I recently purchased a samsung sbh-650 bluetooth stereo headset for use with my verizon 8830 we. The headset works perfectly with other nokia/samsung phones, but with the blackberry , the songs (while playing in media player) get stuck in between every 5-10 seconds. Can someone please confirm this behaviour ? I'm on verizon 4.5 firmware.

My sprint 4.5 firmware 8830 WE do the same with my Motorola S705 Stereo bluetooth unit.. till date i havent got a solution.. but u can try .. going to bluetooth> options and try switching either one Headset or Handsfree and go back to device profile refresh services and it might work if not then restart and repair.. this should work with either of the one "Headset" or "Handsfree" if not then check with doc about how to update only bluetooth module in bb88830we.. StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted April 22, 2010 Update: Seems like a bluetooth synch or frequency drift problem. anyways, the glitch is less and infrequent when ONLY the A2DP profile is active and nothing else. As soon as i connect the handsfree profile with the A2DP, it starts glitching left right and center.
ultapulta 3 Report post Posted May 19, 2010 i have a solution for this problem..... just rip the mp3 files @ 44,100 khz and try... it worked for my friend !
StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted May 23, 2010 Why would changing the freq. to 44.1k make any difference? They play all well on the other phones. Seems to me like a bluetooth radio driver issue on the 8830 WE. Still i'll try that and check what works.

Seems to me like a bluetooth radio driver issue on the 8830 WE. Still i'll try that and check what works. cause frequency higher than 44.1k requires more resources higher the frequency more frequently it will get stuck.... my friend uses it this way only.....
