anujit 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2004 There are plenty of phones in the CDMA market that outshine GSM phones today. Check out the Samsung i700 & 760. Not to mention almost any phone sold in Korean & Jap market today works on CDMA and they are technically years ahead. We're talking about 5 mega pixel cameras. Watching actual TV on the mobile. Blazing data speeds, GPS and the like. In terms of technology CDMA is miles ahead of GSM. Too bad RIM doesn't give us all that ... or if it could it would be prohibitively expensive. I heard that RIM was implementing EV-DO in India (further suggested by its introduction of EV-DO phones such as the LG Video Cam phone) this year (2004).
