tanveer 59 Report post Posted April 12, 2010 I am using Netconnect broadband + for the last couple of months without any problems. The modem I am using is Huawei EC1260 on windows 7. Earlier in the day, all of a sudden in midst of a session, the connection got terminated and now on connecting I am getting this error error 678 - The Remote computer did not respond. Wat does it mean? My prepaid balance has expired? Problem with reliance network? Something wrong with the modem?
tanveer 59 Report post Posted April 12, 2010 Maybe a network problem only. Started working after 4 hours again now. even 1x was not working. Though data was working on my phone.
tanveer 59 Report post Posted May 26, 2010 A new problem today. For the last few hours I am not getting any signal in the signal strength indicator. Dont remember whether we can change the network from BB+ to 1x when no signal is there. Any ideas?

tanveer 59 Report post Posted May 28, 2010 (edited) network problem with the device? what would that mean? Network or device? I think it is a device problem only. Also i am not able to change the network type. Someone told me that should not be the case and I should be able to change the network type irrespective of network coverage. God knows whats wrong. Will take the modem to ASC one of the days Edited May 28, 2010 by tanveer
