Error 678

Recommended Posts

I am using Netconnect broadband + for the last couple of months without any problems. The modem I am using is Huawei EC1260 on windows 7.

Earlier in the day, all of a sudden in midst of a session, the connection got terminated and now on connecting I am getting this error

error 678 - The Remote computer did not respond.

Wat does it mean? My prepaid balance has expired? Problem with reliance network? Something wrong with the modem?

Maybe a network problem only. Started working after 4 hours again now. even 1x was not working. Though data was working on my phone.

A new problem today. For the last few hours I am not getting any signal in the signal strength indicator. Dont remember whether we can change the network from BB+ to 1x when no signal is there. Any ideas?

network problem with the device?

what would that mean?

Network or device? I think it is a device problem only.

Also i am not able to change the network type. Someone told me that should not be the case and I should be able to change the network type irrespective of network coverage. God knows whats wrong. Will take the modem to ASC one of the days
