But I want to know how to find out number of smses you sent on a given day as when you cross 500 sms on a given day you have to shell out 50p/sms. I want to know this as i lose track of SMSes sent. There is a facility in Airtel but don't know abt reliance.

Like if you send a 3 part LMS, some mobiles may show it as 1 sent and some mobiles show it as 3 sent... Edited April 15, 2010 by KumaarShah
csmart 472 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 AFAIK, Not all mobiles have a SMS counter and also the funda is different for various phones. Like if you send a 3 part LMS, some mobiles may show it as 1 sent and some mobiles show it as 3 sent... for this, you will be charged for 3 even if mobile shows 1. as SMS gateway considers as 3 differnt messages

raccoon 53 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 IMO, service provider can easily provide this info along with account balance, if they want to. And they should, if they come out with schemes like this. But practically speaking, 500 SMS/day is a huge allowance for most people. So most (like me) need not/would not bother to even check.
::Hitesh:: 1,763 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 as you said "if they want to".....they are not going to do that !!!
