ashoksoft 83 Report post Posted April 16, 2010 Just an urgent requirement ... I've got an event tomorrow - and will need ideas in live telecasting the event thro the internet. I just require a video stream (audio is not mandatory). I'd love it if the application / setup can record the event as well as telecast it. I'll have the following at my disposal : 1. Laptop - Dell D630 and a Compaq CQ40 2. Web Cams and a Nokia N82 (5.0 Mp with Warelex Mobiola software to use the phone as a webcam) 3. Internet connectivity thro Reliance Broadband+ / Tata Photon or the hotel's wifi. I'd love it if any other suggestions can come up. Any specific tools that might give better results - since the telecast is to be streamed to a bunch of computers connected together in my office. ashoksoft 83 Report post Posted April 17, 2010 Setup 3 grades of streaming ... 1. stream via windows media encoder 2. stream thro yawcam (nice - efficient and lightweight) 3.
